About Us

Digital Photography class on location in The Little River Valley.

U3A Dubbo provides affordable learning opportunities to seniors who are retired and semi-retired, using the skills and abilities of the members themselves with special emphasis on improving skills of all kinds.

Prior educational qualifications are unnecessary and there are no exams or assessments.

Classes take different styles depending on the subject. Some involve lectures while others take the form of discussion groups. The format is flexible and designed to suit both the subject and the needs of the class members.

Our year is divided into four Terms and all classes are held during the day.

Low Cost. Course Leaders provide their time and services free of charge. This allows us to keep our fees to a minimum.

As a member, you are entitled to attend as few or as many courses as you wish for the same low fee, and our Term Newsletter will keep you up to date with Course details and other activities.

Centrally Located. Most of our classes are conducted in the pleasant surroundings of the Community Arts Centre, Western Plains Cultural Centre, 76 Wingewarra Street Dubbo. Ample free off-street parking is available.
